Malaysia Airlines’ losses widen after air disasters

Struggling with the impact of the twin calamities of the disappearance of flight MH370 in March and the shooting down of MH17 last month, Malaysia Airlines has just reported more deep financial losses for the latest quarter.

As expected, its passenger loads dipped despite the airline offering discounts. It’s underling the urgent need for a drastic turnaround plan that could be announced as early as Friday, as CCTV America’s Rian Maelzer reports from Kuala Lumpur.
