‘Guarded optimism’ for ceasefire in Ukraine

As the Ukraine and Russia take their first tentative steps towards peace, the mood in eastern Ukraine is one of “guarded optimism.” CCTV America’s Kate Parkinson reports from Donetsk.

The ceasefire between Ukrainian government forces and Russian-backed separatist rebels will be implemented bilaterally, with both sides agreeing to hold fire.
