Boko Haram militants seize more territory in Nigeria

Radical Islamist group Boko Haram has taken more territory in northeast Nigeria as part of its own Islamic Caliphate. The group is now reported to be in control of six local governments in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states.

The country’s military is reportedly carrying out airstrikes on the insurgents positions. As CCTV-America’s Deji Badmus reports, there are still fears that the militants could overrun the capital of Borno State.
