In Eastern Ukraine, families and friends have been burying their loved ones killed in the deadly fighting near Donetsk airport. CCTV America’s Stephanie Freid attended one funeral and files this report.

Despite the cease-fire declared two weeks ago by both sides, people continue to die in conflicts in Eastern Ukraine. The ongoing fight between Ukrainian military and the rebels even after the cease-fire has been agreed upon, instills very little hope among the people waiting for some peaceful resolution to the crisis.

Six civilians have died recently during the shelling at the Donetsk airport.

CCTV America’s Elaine Reyes is joined by William Courtney, former ambassador to Georgia and Kazakhstan, to talk about the NATO exercises going on in Ukraine.
