Growing number of female directors in Asia’s family firms

In China, more and more daughters are now taking the reins of family businesses. New data show family firms across Asia are bucking the boardroom status quo. CCTV America’s Grace Brown reports from Beijing.

Chinese women may be seeing more opportunities in family businesses but elsewhere in the economy, from pay to promotions, inequality between men and women in China remains widespread.
