Airstrikes against IS have not stopped militant advances

There have already been 88 airstrikes in Syria alone. Now there are more countries becoming a part of the coalition to defeat the Islamic State. Recently, Australia and Canada said they would be a part as well.

Canada will support the coalition in Iraq and Syria. Australia will help only in Iraq. Islamic State terrorists in Syria have been able to gain control over Kobani.
