A Nebraska hospital is preparing to receive the latest American Ebola patient Ashoka Mukpo. He was expected to leave Liberia and arrive the U.S. for treatment by Monday. He worked as a freelance cameraman with the American TV network NBC. The rest of the crew will also be flown home separately so they can self-quarantine in the U.S.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control confirmed that the Texas Ebola patient has taken a turn for the worse. As many as 50 people who came in contact with him are being monitored for fever spikes in the Dallas, Texas area. These include family members who have been moved from their apartment as well as health workers.

Monday, the U.S. President Barack Obama will get an update on the American response to Ebola from Dr. Tom Frieden, the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. He is the physician who is also leading the nation’s response to prevent a deadly outbreak from spreading around the globe.
