Police take down barricades in Hong Kong

More barricades came down in Central Hong Kong, and for now protesters can stay, but can’t put up new barricades.

Traffic in Central Hong Kong returned to normal. Police said they’ll start moving to other parts to the city to ease congestion in the area.
Protesters are demanding more freedom in choosing candidates for 2017 elections.

The demonstrations are entering its third week.

The Hong Kong government and China have called the protests illegal.
