Matt Goss rose to international fame as a singer with his twin brother in the band Bros, selling more than 17 million records worldwide. Now, for the first time, Matt Goss, revealed to CCTV America a cause that is dear to his heart.

CCTV America’s Susan Roberts reports.

Six months ago, Matt lost his mother, Carol, to breast cancer.

Goss is now committed to bringing attention to breast cancer, not only in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the U.S., but all the year round over the world. He’s donating the sales from his new hit ‘Strong’ to fight the disease.

He believes he could have played a larger role in saving his own mother’s life, but by the time she was diagnosed it was too late. He said he thinks of her every day and especially after a show. “I am my mother’s son. I want to be certain to make her proud, because I believe with all my heart and soul that she is still with me,” Goss said.
