Robert Lawrence Kuhn discusses growth of rule of law in China

The high-level meeting of China’s Communist Party has concluded with a reform plan for China’s future, and the the rule of Law was prominently supported. Under this rule, judicial independence is reinforced while the influence of local party officials is reduced or eliminated.

The party says the government itself needs to do more to abide by the law. The committee also upheld the decision to revoke the membership of six former officials including Yang Jin-shan, a high-level official that was expelled from the military.
