One organization trying to help break barriers is Afrohispanos, a Spain-based group that works for the rights of minorities in the Spanish-speaking world. Their goal is to promote social cohesion and acceptance among all societal groups.

Americas Now interviewed Afrohispanos President Guillermo Ponce to discuss some of the issues facing minorities in Latin America.
