Fifth doctor in Sierra Leone becomes infected with Ebola

Ebola Outbreak

Authorities in Sierra Leone said a doctor there has tested positive for Ebola. He’s been identified as Dr. Godfrey George and was taken to the capital Freetown for treatment after reporting that he felt unwell.

He’s the fifth doctor in the country to become infected with Ebola. The other four physicians have died. Five hundred health-care workers have contracted the virus. They are considered most at-risk, as the disease spreads by bodily fluids.
