Chile’s central coast city of Valparaiso is rebuilding after a massive fire in April.
Valparaiso has long been known for its architecture and colonial charm. In 2003, The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) declared its historic downtown center a World Heritage Site.
Residents have spent months rebuilding the the city to bring it back to its former beauty.
This week Americas Now travels to Chile’s coast, two hours from the capital of Santiago, to see how this historic city is rising from the ashes.
