Former State Dept. official PJ Crowley discusses US response to Sony hack

A new report by the U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration found more than 60,000 security breaches against the U.S. federal government last year, an increase of 35 percent since 2010.

Networks at the White House, State Department and Energy Department have all been breached and security experts have warned they expect even more cyber attacks.

High-profile hacks on private industry such as the recent Sony hacking case are also being considered a matter of national security.
