Guinea mobalizes to halt spread of Ebola

In the battle against Ebola, one of the greatest obstacles is convincing local villagers in West Africa that the virus is real, and that outsiders arriving with medical supplies are not a threat. 

CCTV America’s Stephanie Freid reported from Diawasou village in southeastern Guinea. She joined a “social mobilization unit” and visited an outlying village in Guinea’s forest region. She discovered one of the factors that may be driving Ebola’s rise in Guinea.
