Healthcare fraud is possibly one of the world’s most profitable scams. Some doctors, nurses and medical professionals cheated taxpayers and patients.
In just one example, United States Federal authorities arrested over 100 health care providers and charged them with committing fraud against government health services. It is estimated that health care fraud costs about one-half trillion dollars around the globe annually.

The Heat interviewed a panel of guests including:

  • Chair of the Canadian Health Care Anti-Fraud Association Heather Foster
  • Paul Vincke, director of staff at NIH Belgium
  • United States Health Care Fraud Litigator Raphael Katz
