The UN said an apparent Israeli airstrike in Syria may have breached a 1974 ceasefire agreement. The attack killed six Hezbollah fighters and an Iranian general. CCTV’s Alaa Ebrahim reported this story from Quneitra, Syria.

Quneitra province, the district that separates Israeli-occupied Syrian territories with the rest of the country, is home to Al-Amal Farms, a remote spot that’s made international headlines in recent days.

The raid was carried out using a drone that fired two missiles on two cars that we driving through. Hezbollah said five of its members died in the raid, while Iran has said one of its generals was also killed.

“The cars were here for less than ten minutes before two planes came from Israel and fired two missiles on each car. The explosions were so powerful,” Abu Ziad Mohamad Ganem, a resident of Al-Amal Farms said.

The blasts left charred tires, molten metal, and car parts everywhere. People living in homes less than a hundred meters (328 feet) away felt the full force.

“I was walking my four year old nephew to our neighbors, when the two cars drove past us. They asked for directions and then drove ahead. I had never seen them here before. Minutes later, they were hit. Some shrapnel hit my nephew in the head and he was taken to hospital,” Om Majed, a resident of Al-Amal Farms said.
