Apple agrees to accept China’s Internet security clearance

Apple has agreed to allow security clearance checks by the Cyberspace Administration of China, according to China’s top internet security watchdog.

China has now officially become the largest market for iPhones. U.S. tech giants like Google and Facebook have been approached by the watchdog to comply with China’s cyberspace checks, but they have had to stay out of the Chinese market because of their refusal to comply.
