Boko Haram unleashes new cross-border fury in Chad

The Nigeria-based militant group launched an overnight attack Friday, for the first time in Chad, where a village sheltering thousands of refugees from Nigeria was attacked by militants. Several were killed before Chad’s military fought them out.
Boko Haram has expanded cross-border violence with recent attacks in Niger and Cameroon. This latest attack was its first in Chad.
