China and the European Union do a billion dollars of trade every day and China’s relationship with Europe is growing stronger.

Chinese firms invested nearly four billion dollars in European financial companies last year which is ten times more than the year before. France is the top European destination for Chinese tourists attracting two million in 2014.

Philippe Le Corre is a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institute in Washington D.C. and he co-authored the book, The Chinese Offensive in Europe. He explains the impact of this financial exchange.
