Eurozone to Greece: "stop wasting time"

The Greek government is still trying to work out its debt reform program. Eurozone finance ministers are now warning Greece it may run out of money soon if its leaders don’t get their act together. CCTV’s Jack Barton has this report from Brussels.

Highlights:

  • Greek officials will meet with representatives from the EU and IMF in Brussels on Wednesday to find out if Athens will get its latest round of bailout funding.
  • The announcement came at a Eurozone finance ministers meeting at which officials complained Athens had made almost no progress on reforms since its was granted a loan extension.
  • Athens needs to convince the European Commission, European Central Bank and the IMF that key reforms remain on track to receive the latest tranche of bailout funds worth the equivalent of $7.6 billion dollars.
  • The Eurozone has given Greece until April to come up with a comprehensive list of reforms or have its funding cut.
