Business (card) culture in China

Chinese Culture

However slight the variation, business in China has its own style. Since the details create the big picture, we decided to look at how someone in China would exchange a business card and compare it with a more Western style.

Can you see the difference? Westerners typically hand each other business cards using one hand, while the proper way in China is to give — and accept — a card using two hands, sometime also with a slight bow at the waist. Two hands is considered more proper and respectful than using one hand in China.
