The Year of China in South Africa was celebrated today in Johannesburg with a special visit by China’s Culture Minister to the prestigious Joburg Ballet company. CCTV’s Julie Scheier filed this report.

Ballet program giving opportunities to talented students

In Johannesburg, dance is changing lives of many. South African Mzansi Ballet development Programme is running several schools in townships. This has been giving talented children from disadvantaged backgrounds a chance to shine.  CCTV’s Julie Scheier reported this story from Alexandra, Johannesburg.
