This week, the 2015 Hispanicize event kicked off in Miami, Florida uniting over 2,000 Latinos from across the United States. The five-day event gathers Latino influencers, trendsetters and newsmakers from journalism, marketing and social media industries. The event aims to connect brands and agencies with digital content creators and according to founder Manny Ruiz, Hispanicize is more than a conference.   • According to Connexion Research, Latina millennials, some of them mothers and under the age of 35, are outpacing the opposite sex in education and career growth and have a purchasing power of more than $170 billion.
