In Colombia’s capital, Bogota, officials are pouring tax dollars into saving sick trees, instead of cutting them down. CCTV’s Michelle Begue has more.

Highlights:

• Bogota’s environmental secretary is treating more than 57,000 potentially sick trees with a mobile unit.
• To improve air quality, the World Health Organization suggests cities plant at least one tree for every three citizens.
• Bogota still falls short of WHO goals with more than six people per tree there.
