Rehabilitated ex-cons struggle to find jobs, housing after prison

More than two million people are currently in prisons and jails across the United States, according to the latest government figures. It’s estimated that 97 percent of them will return to the communities after they are released. Reintegrating into society can be a challenge that many are not ready to face. Most ex-cons struggle to get jobs or find permanent housing.
