China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi continues his three-day visit to Moscow by attending a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. CCTV’s Julia Lyubova filed this report.

Highlights:

  • The meeting between Russia and China’s foreign ministers comes ahead of a high political season for the two nations.
  • China’s leader Xi Jinping will visit Moscow in May where he will take part in celebrations to mark 70 years since the end of the second World War.
  • There will also be a number of bilateral meetings between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping later in the year.
