New York governor goes to Cuba to promote US business

The Governor of New York State, Andrew Cuomo, became the first United States governor to visit Cuba since the two countries announced that they would end their cold war standoff and restore diplomatic relations. As CCTV correspondent Michael Voss reported, he was accompanied by a high powered business delegation.

  • Cuba’s struggling economy needs foreign investment. Twelve months ago the government passed a new foreign investment law offering tax and other incentives.
