Japan’s Prime Minister is in the U.S. for an eight day trip which will include a state dinner at the White House, a joint news conference and a speech to both chambers of the U.S. Congress. Landmark agreements on military ties with the U.S. and trade are on the agenda but also a recognition of Japan’s military past. CCTV’S Nathan King filed this report.
