If you have time and web chops to donate, OpenStreetMap is asking volunteers for assistance with “rapidly providing a detailed and accurate map (i.e., road network, villages, buildings, etc.) to support the humanitarian organizations. These services help locate people at risk efficiently, and facilitate the delivery of goods and services to remote areas.”
Person Finder
Google’s person finder is a system if you’re looking for a missing person or have info on someone. As of early Monday afternoon EST, it was tracking about 6,000 records in Nepal. Search is also available over SMS messaging.

Through iTunes, users can donate via the American Red Cross to aid relief efforts. (Note: link launches iTunes.)

The American Red Cross has pledged $300,000 to the relief effort, which is being led by the Nepal Red Cross, and is asking for donations to increase the effort.

The online payment system PayPal has set up a donation site where users can send funds to various humanitarian organizations sending aid to Nepal, including Habitat for Humanity and Catholic Relief Services. PayPal said it is waving its usual money-sending fee for this campaign, and as of early Monday afternoon EST, reported that $234,855 had been raised.
Dozens of countries have [pledged aid and support, including the Chinese International Search and Rescue Team (CISAR), who along with sniffer dogs began disaster relief over the weekend. The U.S. announced Monday it was donating $9 million in relief efforts.
