  • According to a report by the University of Waterloo in Canada, average February temperatures in every single site that has hosted the Winter Olympics have increased by more than one and a half degrees Celsius about three degrees Fahrenheit in just the past 50 years. The warming trend has the $1.3 billion California ski industry scrambling to reshape their resorts as more than JUST winter destinations, but year round attractions.
