It’s coming down to the wire in the United Kingdom’s general election Thursday. Party leaders are nearing the end of a mad dash – in a bid for votes. Polls suggest the election result will be the “closest” in a generation – with no “one” political party holding an outright majority. Because of this, many are questioning the voting system. Critics say: the rapid increase in the number of smaller parties is straining the way governments are selected. CCTV’s Richard Bestic filed this report from.
