Brazil veterans pay tribute to WWII soliders

Following Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, several Latin American countries either ended relations or declared war against the Axis powers, but Brazil was the only country to send troops to fight in Europe, alongside Allied Forces. Excellent and good to know that this History is still alive! Our veterans did so much for the Allied cause and they have the honour of the 148° German Infantry Division’s surrender to our troops in Fornovo di Taro on April 29th, 1945. More than 15,000 germans were imprisoned there by the Brazilian Army! Not to mention the other battles won such as Monte Castello, Montese, Castelnuovo, Massarosa, Camaiore, Collecchio, Fornovo di Taro etc.

My compliments to CCTV América for this vídeo!
