Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel visits Moscow to pay tribute to Soviet soldiers killed in World War two. The Chancellor’s visit comes a day after the Red Square celebrations with a big military parade. Merkel and other Western leaders chose to forego that event. As CCTV’s Stephanie Freid reported from Moscow, Merkel’s appearance at the Kremlin is being viewed as a balancing act between respect and diplomacy.
