Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has wrapped up his much talked about tour of China. While the bilateral ties between the world’s two most populous nations remain economically optimistic, it has a more complicated geopolitical relationship.

The prime minister  has signed economic and trade deals worth $22 billion with Beijing. Talks were also held about a decade-long border dispute issue. Modi said both India and China have agreed to explore “fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable resolution” to the issue. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang spoke about the importance of both nations working together.
