The Heat discusses improving US-Cuba relations

The United States and Cuba edge closer to the restoration of full diplomatic relations. Last week, the United States removed Cuba from a list of countries the U.S. claims sponsor terrorism. The announcement opens the door for both nations to renew full diplomatic ties after more than 50 years.

CCTV’s Michael Voss provided an update from Havana.

The Heat began its discussion with United States Congresswoman Barbara Lee has a longtime relationship with Cuba and has visited the island nation more than 20 times.

The discussion continued its discussion on improving relations between the United States and Cuba with these experts:
