Several parched US states hit by early wildfire season

Summer officially begins on Sunday in the northern hemisphere. But, in the United States the wildfire season is not waiting for the calendar. Sparked largely by a drought in the west, several states are already battling fires. In Arizona, a 1,400 hectare brush fire, that was threatening a town of 2,000, has been contained. CCTV’s John Metherell filed this report on other states where wildfires are burning.
