China calls for more trust and cooperation

High-level talks between China and the United States aimed at strengthening ties have wrapped up in Washington. The two day talks were aimed at promoting greater cooperation between the two economic giants. This year’s talks were also clouded by mistrust over territorial disputes in the South China Sea. China’s Ministry of National Defense says it wants military ties with the U.S. that are conducive to regional stability. CCTV’s Tang Bo filed this report from Beijing.
