The price of cocoa, the raw material of chocolate, has been booming in recent years, in part because of increased demand from Asian consumers. The biggest price growth has been with the aroma beans, used in the finest chocolate. That’s good news for small producers in Venezuela. The Latin American country’s wider economy is in the midst of a sharp downturn. CCTV’s Stephen Gibbs filed this report.
