On the eve of elections in Burundi, the National Assembly President fled to Belgium, as political unrest gets more deadly . He denounced what he called the “illegal and unconstituitional” bid by Burundi’s President for a third term. The opposition says it will boycott Monday’s local and Parliamentary elections. Nevertheless, it’s all systems go as the country prepares to head to the polls. CCTV-America’s Kofa Mrenje filed the report from Burundi.
