Chile won the Copa America on Saturday when they beat Argentina 4-1 on penalties after no goals in a 120-minute final match. It’s the first major title Chile has ever won, and the victory has deflected some attention from the social and political problems facing the host country.

CCTV America’s Joel Richards filed the report from Santiago.
