Temperatures in China are already searing hot, but they're about to get even hotter. Authorities have issued a one-month long heat alert marking what's known as "Dog days" - the hottest days of the summer. Regions in central, eastern and northern China are expected to see temperatures soar and settle at 40 degrees Celsius.
