Honeybees produce an estimated $15 billion in economic value each year, but bees are also in some real trouble. Since 2006, the number of these insects dying in North America and Europe has more than tripled. The Obama Administration is now working to address the problem by trying to replenish bee numbers. Pollinator Health Task Force now wants to create millions of acres of wildflowers or bee food to boost bee numbers. CCTV’s Hendrik Sybrandy filed this report from the U.S. state of Colorado.
