Cuba has long been a popular vacation destination for Europeans and Canadians, but this year numbers have risen dramatically.

The list of tour operators trying to cash in on Cuba is growing. There are two more U.S. companies that have announced plans for cruises. Globus and Haimark will offer trips out of Miami starting early next year. General leisure travel from the U.S. to Cuba are still prohibited, but these new ventures will be classed as “people-to-people” exchanges that are allowed.
