After landing in Nairobi Barack Obama traveled to his hotel, where he sat down for dinner with his sister, step-grandmother and other family members. His father is from Kenya, which has cast a personal light on Obama’s trip to the east African nation. The visit is meant to boost trade and strengthen security ties with eastern Africa.
