Joel Selanikio on effectiveness of malaria vaccine

This week the European regulators recommended approval for the world’s first malaria vaccine. The World Health Organization will be the next body to evaluate its use. It will have to consider some major issues. It’s only about 30 percent effective. Its protection fades over time and it requires four doses over 18 months.CCTV’s Susan Roberts spoke with Joel Selanikio.
