Journalist and 4 others killed, tortured in Mexico

Another journalist has been murdered in Mexico City. This time a photojournalist, who had fled the western Mexican state of Veracruz. Police say Ruben Espinosa was tortured and shot dead over the weekend in Mexico City, along with four others.

  • Police say he was shot in the head and his body showed signs of torture.
  • Police found four other victims at the crime scene. All are women, including University of Veracruz student Nadia Vera and Yesenia Quiroz Alfaro.
