South China Sea work worrisome for ASEAN

Some thorny issues remain unresolved after Southeast Asian countries wrap up a series of high-level meetings in Kuala Lumpur.
China, Japan and South Korea joined the talks at the end. A final communique from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations said some members expressed “serious” concern about reclamation work on islands in the South China Sea. It didn’t name any specific countries. Rian Maelzer filed this report from Kuala Lumpur.
