The typhoon has already caused six deaths since it made landfall in Taiwan early Saturday. It was packing winds over 200 kilometers an hour at its peak. It had lost some of its strength when it hit the island but was still able to cause considerable damage. Blackouts affected over 3 million households and the largest-ever power outage on the island. CCTV’s Barnaby Lo filed this report from Taiwan.
