The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has taken a big step forward. A majority of its founding members have named former Chinese government official Jin Liqun as their candidate to lead the development bank.

Mr. Jin needs to be re-confirmed by the Board of Governors after the bank is formally opened. He has experience working at the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. During an interview with CCTV, Mr. Jin he told us about his ambitions for the bank.
